We love infusing personal details that resonate with our clients into each one of our events. We take inspiration from the venue and personal style of our couples, of course. But what we think really makes for a more intimate and magical experience is getting to the root of shared memories and family traditions and extending those notions to your guests.
When we first sat with Jamie + Anthony and asked them to share with us some of their fondest memories at her parents lakefront home, they both sweetly shared the same story about gathering with family on the weekends talking, connecting and laughing over bowls of the best blueberries on Earth from the farmers market in her parents hometown. We knew immediately that they would be a driving source of inspiration and had to be present on each table the evening of their wedding.
We tracked down said farmer, with the help of the brides mother and showcased a sweet family tradition in gorgeous smoked glass candy dishes that lined each reception table. One of our fondest memories of this night was watching our couple, their families and their guests sitting back, talking, connecting and laughing over these bowls of blueberries. May this sweet and seemingly simple tradition carry on for them, for years to come.
