This post isnโ€™t to demonise certain foods, and just like everything I post I hope this helps to educate and dispel some myths. This post is showing you what foods are roughly 100kcal. As you can see there is a difference in volume per 100kcal. The foods which have a lower volume, such as the brazil nuts are what is known as โ€˜calorically denseโ€™, meaning you donโ€™t get a lot per gram. ย Where as, food such as watermelon or strawberries, allow a greater volume to be consumed per 100kcal, meaning they would be a good choice for weight loss. This is useful when you have a restriction in calories because youโ€™re getting more volume for a small amount. However, this does NOT mean you should actively cut out certain foods, in favour of volume all the time, because most types of food have their benefits. #mondaymotivation my cousin recently sent me the pic on the left (and a lovely message). This jumpsuit was a size 18 and thereโ€™s a whole lotta Spanx underneath controlling the wobble. This was 3years ago and I was in the middle of various weight loss plans and yo-yo dieting, but I was pretty happy with myself for slimming down enough to wear this. But then foward to this weekend when my sister bought a playsuit which there are several prints so I just thought Iโ€™d try it to see how far off it would be. This is a SIZE 12 AND IT BLOODY FITS!! So Iโ€™ve ordered myself 2 for holiday๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ My weight loss is anything but fast. Iโ€™m been following slimming world now for 1year and 8months. Iโ€™ve lost almost 4st and have another 1.5st to go (maybe more, but i wonโ€™t be sure till I get there) Loads of people have lost that much and more, much quicker. And thatโ€™s great. But Iโ€™ve been slow and steady and keeping it off. There a weeks(sometimes months) where I hover about the same. But I like that because Iโ€™m not putting weight back on! I am determined to lose as much as I can before holiday in 8weeks and would love to be at target. But even if I donโ€™t manage to do it, Iโ€™m super happy and proud of myself in how far Iโ€™ve come. I also did my measurements and have lost 6.5 inches since April with 2inches from my back and 1 from my chest, which Iโ€™m thrilled about! That gives a total of 44inches lost so far which is the back measurement of my bra back in nov 2017 when I first started!
