Boats and Hoes.
The boat glided down the river, and day turned to night.
Jakk woke suddenly, as something had changed in the bond. He could feel that Lilith was above. Safe. In her element. He almost went back to sleep, but curiosity got the best of him, and so he grabbed his pants on and walked out onto the deck. Were it not for the bond, she would not have noticed him coming... he so missed being able to sneak up on her.
He deftly climbed up to the crows nest.
"Hello my gaidin, I stole your cloak, are you proud of me?" Said Lilith, smiling cheekily. Jakk didn't need to hear the slur of her words to know that she was slightly intoxicated. She held a bottle of the apple sourz, and Jakk decided that she deserved it. She had behaved well of late, and so he Jumped up to sit next to her. "Hello, missy. I am indeed proud... I'll make a thief of you yet." Jakk said in reply. He smiled, then opened his mouth wide.
The bottle of apple sourz glided from her lips to his, slowly tipping it up and flowing the cold drink into Jakk's open mouth.
He drank it and smiled at her. "Does my Aes sedai know how much I adore her?" Jakk said.
"She does, and the feeling is mutual" Lilith said, Her smile warming him despite the cold wind that assaulted his bare chest.
"Good girl" He said "But It's so far from mutual.. I don't think you are capable of comprehending how I feel about you."
She nestled her head back into his shoulder and took another sip of the drink. "You can never let me win, can you? Do you always have to argue that I adore you just as much?" She asked.
"Yes, yes I do" Jakk replied the second she finished. He kissed the back of her head and They both looked up at the stars.
Jakk took a sip and then held the bottle to her lips and poured the drink. She sipped at first, but Jakk kept pouring... She made an unintelligible noise of panic as her mouth began to overflow and Jakk laughed as he removed the bottle, Just before it spilt everywhere. She gulped it down and coughed a bit before giving him an evil stare. Jakk countered the stare by lifting her chin with his thumb and finger.
He kissed her high above the river's reflection of the moon.
