I’ve taken the last couple of days to listen to my body. The first thing I can tell is keto and I didn’t get along. I’ve heard from multiple sources that heart palpitations are normal and I need more electrolytes. I tried salt in the water and pills and I still was experiencing it. Whole30 taught me to listen to my body and that’s why I made the decision to stop keto on Monday. If whole30 taught me to listen to my body paleo allowed me food freedom which honestly was one of the reason I wanted to do keto. I feel like I need to be strict with what I’m eating so for right now I’m still trying to figure it out. I will say looking at how many carbs I was consuming prior to trying keto was an eye opening experience, I had no clue it was that many. So here is where I’m at uncertain in some aspects but certain that I enjoy eating predominantly Paleo and will continue to do so for the immediate future. Doing another round of whole30 has crossed my mind, we’ll see 😉 this month a year ago I started my #whole180 journey soooooooooooo

I firmly believe this. After multiple rounds of #whole30 including a #whole100 & #whole180 I know my body felt dramatically better simply because of the food I was putting into it. I say simply because we tend to over complicate shit sometimes, end of the day eat good feel good. The government and big pharma companies don’t want people knowing this letting alone eating healthy. Can you imagine all the money they’d lose if people lessened or even eliminated their ailments through simply eating healthy and adding moderate exercise??? What to see some crazy 💩 watch a couple of food documentaries on Netflix, I just finished Forks over Knives, mind blown

I have to share what I put on Facebook just a bit ago so here it is............................................... I usually don’t post a lot about my health/ fitness journey on FB but I had to share this. Jay and I officially finished our whole180 today. We started right before Halloween. That means we went through the holidays not eating candy, cookies, bread, pizza, I could go on and on. We honestly really don’t miss it. I mainly miss the convenience that’s about it. We took a couple trips during this time and were able to plan ahead, pack a cooler and still have fun. I’ve lost 20 pounds 😐 Jay has lost 40 ☺️ and we feel amazing. This is the longest we’ve ever eaten this way (we did a whole 100 a while back). We plan to mainly eat this way/paleo indefinitely. If you have any questions about eating like this, recipes, etc I’m happy to help. I’ve done 6 or 7 rounds of whole30 now and can’t imagine life without it. When you cut out the sugar you feel amazing. On to the next chapter, gaining muscle 💪🏼💗 #whole180 #IDIDIT

I don’t like zoodles, the ones I’ve had always get mushy and gross 😣 I like spaghetti well I really like the pasta sauce honestly so I cut up a couple zucchinis, large chunks 😉 sautéed in olive oil and bam 💥 😋 #whole180

Pretty excited about these results, down 4.2 pounds ☺️🎉 I followed #whole30guidelines which I know you’re not supposed to weigh yourself but let’s get real I’ve been doing this for 176 days now and since I had only lost 20 pounds I figured I needed to work the program and make it work for me. My “official” last day of my #whole180 is this Friday 😱 time has flown by. Hubby and I plan to follow Paleo/whole30 with a few cheats every now and again indefinitely. I like the way I feel when I eat like this ☺️. This past week I’ve also tried to increase my water intake as well as working out 5 days. 💪🏼💗 #myfitnesspal

Found these while out shopping today, Pure Wraps. The ingredients are young coconut and Himalayan salt ☺️ for those new to #whole30 these are considered #swypo so they should be avoided. Post workout breakfast bowl 😋 2 eggs, chicken sausage, a pan fried plantain and half an avocado topped with the air fryer tomatillo salsa I made the other day. I tried a bite without the salsa and yuck I over fried my plantains. If you have an air fryer that is by far the best way to “fry” plantains. #airfryer #whole180 #postworkoutmeal

Instant pot Mexi meatloaf from @predominantly_paleo and zoodles sautéed with olive oil and cilantro. The meatloaf was good, I was skeptical about cooking it in the instant pot but it worked 😂 the recipe was a little spicy for 2 of the kiddos but hubby and I enjoyed it #whole180

Today marks the last official day of #whole30 and I am loving the results thus far. Although it can be hard and sometimes complicated, (if you’ve gone out to eat with me before, you know) it has honestly been a game changer for my health. Today marks day 127 of my #whole180 journey, I had lost count seriously 😂 this has been become part of the everyday norm. For breakfast I had leftover sweet potato with Mexican chicken and threw 2 eggs and some avocado on top. Lunch was hot dogs and salad and dinner was turkey burgers with quick guac and carrot spirals from Trader Joe’s

Whole30 has been a lifesaver literally. I had to go out of town yesterday for a memorial service and was able to eat healthy food thanks to everything I packed. I made a double serving of tuna salad with olives as well as chicken, ratatouille & sweet potatoes. I also packed easy to eat items such as go Chomps, apples, larabars, raisins and pistachios. These were great for the long car ride. I’m glad I’m doing a #whole180 the urge to emotionally eat was definitely there but thanks to planning ahead and discipline I was in control. ❤️

Dinner tonight was instant pot Mexican stuffed sweet potatoes from @40aprons. Well I actually did it, I worked out 😂👏🏻💪🏼😐 I went to the gym and hit the treadmill textbook in hand and walked while reading about ethics in technology 😴🤪 and later after putting the kids to bed spent 2 hours trying to figure out how in the hell I’m going to pass my computer class.
