My husband and I were talking last night about how tempting it is to think one bite or one sip wouldn’t be such a big deal, right? But it is.
This is an all or nothing program.
It is a 30 day reset for a reason. It’s not meant to be forever but instead to help us learn better eating habits, tame sugar demons, and to find ways to manage our emotions without self medicating with food and alcohol, to help us find problematic foods that cause inflammation, and to show us we are stronger than our cravings.
It is Day 14 for those of you who started with me. We are almost halfway there!
Today, make a plan for the week. Map or your tough days and have a plan ready. Have ingredients ready for quick meals.
I have three days ahead where I leave home at 6:45 and won’t get home until close to 8:00pm. I also have a birthday party and an emotional potluck lunch at school to celebrate a colleague who passed away last night.
It would be super easy to make excuses to take one bite or have one drink- but I won’t.
