Even though I’m not on a round I decided to start logging each day on a calendar because I’m a very visual person and I like to see things clearly! This reminds me that my food is actually going really well. There has been one day that I was not comfortable with marking off and it was when I ate too much paleo granola. I didn’t like the way I compulsively ate it but I would say I overate rather than binged. I’ve had thoughts and urges but I haven’t acted on them. I might be struggling a little mentally with my ‘food freedom’ but I must stop punishing myself for having compulsive thoughts. My habits were created years ago so of course I’m going to have urges - I think it’s a good time for me to look at this, realise all of the successes that I have had and remember each time that I’ve had a win, no matter how big or small ☺️ Ps - might get my water bottle out haha

W30-D30👩🏽‍🍳 “Finished” Although I wrapped up Whole30 over a week ago, I had to share one of my favorite meals on the final day.... 🧡Turkey Burger Sliders on a Sweet Potato “Bun”. This is a healthier version that’s easy to make and tastes really good. For this meal, I added @pedersonsfarms sugar free bacon, grilled mushrooms, mustard and lettuce. I ate them again the next day with only mustard and avocado. I typically top the burgers with whatever toppings I have available at the time. Sometimes I make these using beef but this particular week I was only eating turkey🧡 💛To make the “buns”, simply slice the sweet potato to the size you prefer. I can never cut potatoes properly, so I ended up with some thin and some thick🤣. Toss using extra virgin olive oil and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 400 degrees until the potatoes are cooked through (especially if they are cut really thick). Allow them to cool so they are easy to handle, remember you eating them like a regular bun 😉🧡
