R5 day 2 I’ve been MIA but still very much on track. Yesterday was my day 31 of round 4 and day 1 of round 5. So happy to have finally completed my fourth round after three failed attempts towards the end of last year. Down 5.5kg and just feeling much better. I’ve noticed a huge decrease in appetite that may be due to being super busy too. The hardest part of today was not once did I feel hungry and it feels weird eating when your body isn't signalling you to eat. Any other whole 30ers feel like that? Day 10 was good... I have alot going on in my life at the moment and the whole30 gives me a clear head. Food for me is an emotional thing. Day 2... I only ate 3 grapes at breakfast... I find I so much more patience when I am eating this way. I don't rush to make a meal. I take my time and put love and thought into what I want to eat. I made hash browns to go with my eggs at breakfast. I used the roast lamb from last night's dinner as my protein source for lunch and dinner. R4 Day12 Lunch One garlic and herb ghee Kiev, one jays baking me crazy bbq sauce filled Kiev served with cabbage, carrot, garlic and onion. I’m so proud of myself had a back to work meeting in my home for 9am-2pm and there was cake! 😱 Luckily I was prepared and had mini Frittatas, fruit and almond butter ready for my finger food style breakfast and didn’t feel deprived. R4 D10 Breakfast and the last of the cauliflower rice 🙌🏼 It was at around Day 10 of my first round 12 months ago I thought I might make it a whole60 and I did. I’m thinking about the same thing today. I had timed this round so that I finished 3 days before returning to work after 16 months on Maternity leave. I think being still on round could be good for me as I’m totally an emotional eater. We will have a few beginning of year lunches/dinners in the first few weeks so that makes question making it a whole60 but I know by then I will feel so good I won’t want to stray. What better time to brush up on this wonderful book then now, with Mickey being dairy and soy intolerant my food needs to be on point for our breastfeeding journey. Going to miss my avocado toast and oats though, mums who follow this, what foods do you use to help keep a plentiful supply when you can’t use oats? Omelete no forno Esta levou cebola alho cogumelos espinafres cenoura coentros e por cima o tomatinho temperos foram curcuma pimenta preta e sal MODO DE FAZER: 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Numa frigideira uma colher de sobremesa de óleo de côco meia cebola as luas e dois dentes de alho até aloirar depois cortar cerca de 6 cogumelos grandes as fatias juntar à cebola e ao alho e ir mexendo até os cogumelos começarem a ficar doradinhos de seguida juntamos espinafres duas mãos bem cheias ir mexendo até as folhas ficaram moles , entretanto numa vasinha bater 8 ovos com Curcuma pimenta preta e sal depois acrescentar coentros picados e cenoura ralada usei uma pequena depois de tudo bem mexido juntar tudo e levar a um tabuleiro (verificar temperos ) Decorei com tomatinho e manjericão ( podem ver no stories ) Levar ao forno pré-aquecido 180º por 20mts e voilaaaaa :) PS: podem e devem acrescentar 2 colheres de Sopa de farinha de côco ( eu esqueci me ) . . . #olemetenoforno #omelette #lchf ##lowcarb #lowcarbmom #lowcarbdiet #lowcarbfood #lowcarblifestyle #lowcarbhighfat #whole30mum #whole30 #whole30recipes #whole30approved #dietaposparto #dietpostpartum #foodblogger #blogger #breasfeeding #bichoeplanta

D12 : All I had for breakfast was some sliced potato with mayo, and 2 eggs.. Not ideal! But this little darling decided she needed my attention, and being a mum trumps thr perfect #whole30 breakfast. Might sneak in a green smoothie because I am staarving.

Day 4 Lunch: Salad Jar Lunch is on the run today so I thought I'd try this salad in jar thing that all the young hipsters are doing on the interwebs. I think the idea is to put your soggy salad ingredients, including dressings, at the bottom and the greens at the top so they don't get all mushy. When you pore the salad out into a bowl it all falls out in the order that you'd put the ingredients into a bowl anyway (with dressing on top!) Into a clean coffee jar I popped some balsamic vinegar (check label), last nights leftover salsa and guoc, celery, tomato, cucumber and cos lettuce leaves. The tuna isn't ideal for Whole30 as it contains sunflower oil - spring water would have been better, but have to go with what was in the pantry! I'm a new mum so until today I've been lucky enough to be at home to prepare all my meals for the day. I can imagine it would be so much trickier doing it if I had to go to work!
