Really awful pictures I know but this was dinner this very hot evening! 👌 I made a bulgar wheat salad thing 😂 I cooked some bulgar in tumeric and black pepper (as per) and through it on top of some baby gem lettuce, red pepper and fresh tomatoes. I sprinkled some more sprouted pulses on top and added a squeeze of lemon juice 💚 this was soooo refreshing and yummy. Over the weekend we went up to visit my brother and sister in law and my sweet nephew and my sister in law made the tastiest lunch for all of us. These collard green wraps were one of the things I loved so I made them today with: bell pepper, carrot, avocado, Mediterranean hummus, Thai green curry paste, and micro greens! Empanadas gigantes de masa de batata rellenas de carne cortada a cuchillo, cebolla, zapallito y queso🌼 •Para la “masa” lo que hice fue cocinar 1 batata grande al horno, entera, con cáscara, y luego pisarla junto con 1 huevo, queso rallado y harina integral. This salad might challenge your taste buds, but I lOVED it. I dared to combine 4 fresh cooked artichokes cut into cuarters 1 peeled, diced, cooked potato 150 g kidney beans 4 tbsp of sauerkraut (yes!!) 4 sliced cornichons For the salad dressing I used mustard, ground cumin, water, finely chopped dill and a tiny bit of salt'n pep. Try this salad and don't leave out the sauerkraut. It's a fermented food which we all should eat on a regular basis. It's very important for our gut health! 😉 Salat mit Sauerkraut, Gurken, Artischocken, Senf??? Klingt nach Heißhungeratacke einer Schwangeren! Ist es aber nicht. Und es schmeckte großartig. Das Sauerkraut ist übrigens von #Demeter und ist für mich eines der besten, die ich je gegessen habe. 😍 Chucrut y patatas en una ensalada??? A quien se ocurre esto? Solo puede ser la idea de una alemana! Si, pero es perfecta, combina sabores suaves con sabores ácidas y diferentes texturas, desde blando hasta crujiente. Además es una buena opción para tomar un alimento fermentado, que solemos tomar demasiado poco. Un consejo, no compréis el Chucrut de Hengstenberg que venden en Mercadona, ese está demasiado ácido. I got to experience my first float yesterday. Sensory deprivation and near zero gravity, I’ve never experience anything like it and I can’t wait to go back! . . . After about 20 minutes of my one hour float, I was so relaxed and in a complete dreamlike state. You have the choice of music or no music and light or utter darkness. ☀️Who Doesn’t Love healthy Recipes for your GUT, and since all of you know I circle my structure around GUT Health. Here is a good recipe from a Dietitian friend from Austriala that she has created! Tastes Amazing!🔥 - 💫RECIPE: Gut Loving Kombucha Maple Bircher💫

Serves: 1, Prep Time: 5 minutes, Soak time: Overnight 
Ingredients:
-
4 tbsp Kellogg's Sultana Bran
3 tbsp plain rolled oats 
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 apple, grated with the skin left on
1/2 cup kombucha 
1/2 cup of milk (cows, oat, soy or almond)
1-2 tsp maple syrup
2 tbsp fresh raspberries -
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients, except the berries, in a mason jar
2. Stir and then seal tightly
3. Refrigerate overnight
4. The following morning, remove the jar from the refrigerator and give it a quick stir
5. Open jar and enjoy with berries on top
Variation: Chopped nuts are a great addition to add crunch and additional healthy fats. Shredded coconut is also another tasty topping

It’s been awhile since I posted my go-to work lunch, a smorgasbord of delicious finger foods! P: 2 oz turkey summer sausage + 1 oz sliced cheese. Fa: .5 oz sunflower seeds. Fr: 6 oz pineapple (this varies seasonally). V: 8 oz baby carrots, baby cucumbers, and baby pickles! (haha, no baby theme on purpose, I just love these!). Here is the recipe: Cut 1 head #broccoli into pieces and cook al dente. Boil 2 eggs to your preference. Remove the shells and cut each egg into 4 pieces. Rinse and cut the tomatoes into bite-size pieces. On a plate, assemble broccoli pieces, eggs, and tomatoes. I went to a wedding and ate the best cake of my life. Lemon and almond cake with fresh #pontchatoulastrawberry jam and buttercream frosting. An example of the perfect time to eat sugar with abandon. 🍰 Sugar has been demonized a lot lately, some of it well-justified. And now with the new nutrition label coming out with the “added sugar” classification, we are inundated. Who to believe? What to eat?
