Extrañaba tanto hacer pan cakes 😍 Estos me fascinaron, bellos por fuera y con un sorpresivo color y sabor por dentro 🌈😍😻😊 💚 60 gramos de avena 💚 120 ml de leche de coco 💚 1/2 cucharadita de maca 💚 1 cucharadita de Chía 💚 1 plátano congelado 💚 Media zanahoria rallada (crudo) 💚 1/4 parte de betabel rallado (crudo) Agregamos la avena, la leche de coco, la maca, chia y el plátano a la licuadora, colocamos la mezcla en un bowl y agregamos la zanahoria y el betabel, revolver con una cuchara y dejar reposar la mezcla 10 minutos. En un sartén antiadherente y con un poquito de aceite de coco vamos cocinando nuestros pan cakes. These salad stand for meals consisting of whole foods, let's dive a little deeper into it👇👇 - If you’re somewhat into health and fitness and taking care of what you’re eating, you’ve probably already heard of the 80/20 rule for your nutrition. - It’s a rule that states: “80% of your food should come from whole foods and 20% should come from foods that you like” - Whole foods being the salad in this graph and the foods you like being the chocolate, cookie, pizza, donut and wine. - Now, I see a lot of people trying to implement this rule in their life but hopelessly screwing up. They think: “I’m using the 80/20 rule so I can eat this right now” and 2 hours later they think exactly the same. - IF you’re going to use the 80/20 rule you need to make sure that you’re actually doing it in that split and not end up doing a 50/50 or 60/40 split. - You see, technically from an energy balance perspective you can do that. BUT for overall health and energy levels, that’d be dumb and you’d feel like crap. - We don’t want that. We want you to be energized throughout the day and feel good!! - SOOOOOOOOOO - If you’re going to implement the 80/20 rule, make sure you’re doing it as it’s supposed to be used and not use it as an excuse to eat even more foods that you like - At the end of the day, whole foods are what you want to be eating most of the time. F A C E O F F ... Thursday? Yes in deedy it is as tomorrow I will be in for my surgery so won't make it to Face off Friday. The first pic in January was taken the day of my consultation. The April 12 photo was about 4.5kg down from January and the first day I started my pre-op diet. The photo taken yesterday is 13.3kg down from the photo taken 3 weeks ago. It ws a lot of weight dropped really fast and lets keep it real, it isn't good for anyone to drop weight that fast to sustain long term. there's a saying in Dutch that goes, "april doet wat hij wil" which basically says that April does whatever it wants meaning that one day it can be super hot and the next it can snow. this is the first time I've been in the Netherlands during this period and I'm really beginning to see that. we went from cold weather (think winter jacket, long pants, boots) one day to bikini lake side sun bathing the next. LITERALLY. the sun stayed for about 3 days and here I am today wearing the coat, the pants, the boots annnnd a beanie. sleeves back down when out pushing the pedals again. looking forward to your warming presence soon, Sunshine 🌞🌞🌞

GOOD VIBES ☺️❤️🙏🏻 chilling by the UQ lakes, eating a 7 banana monomeal with ducks and water dragons while wearing rainbow pants and my cute new “Lift Vegan” bracelet made by the gorgeous @natasha.pidgeon 💕 so happy, grateful and blessed to have such a great friend! 😘 as you all may know, I was having a rough few weeks but I’ve found my balance again. Im feeling really hopeful and content. It’s been exactly a month since my injury and I haven’t healed as fast as my doctors or physiotherapists predicted (thought I would be back to lifting in 3 weeks) but I’m getting there! Just being patient and finding new passions and ways to move my body that doesn’t hurt such as dancing and jumping rope, and upper body calisthenics such as assisted pull ups and tricep dips (soon to not be assisted 😉). Even though I was sick 2 days back (it went away so quickly! I thank all the turmeric I eat daily 😂) I have had a fantastic week and hope you all are too! Lunchtime favourite - sweet potato “toast” with salsa 😍 This snack is so easy yet filling and comforting for when needing a giant food hug 🤗 (and we all need those right?) I love to slice up sweet potato and roast it in batches so I always have some on hand for a quick easy meal. It’s just as good cold as it is hot and you can you treat it like any toast and top it with veggies, tahini, smashed avo or whatever makes you happy. I love it with salsa - simply chop tomato, avocado, red onion and coriander (cilantro). Add chilli flakes, salt and pepper and squeeze lemon juice over. Then pile up onto your SP toast and enjoy 🤤🤤🤤 Plus this snack has so many health benefits..... here’s just a few..... . 🥗Sweet potato is full of anti-cancerous phytochemicals. It also removes unhealthy estrogen caused by toxins and plastics making way for healthy estrogen in its place.
