This time of the year has been always weird and challenging for me. It’s a middle of the long ass winter and it’s cold and freezing most of the days, short amounts of daylight and long dark nights. ❄️⛄️❄️ .
I definitely enjoy the snow and winter activities such a snowboarding primarely, but after few months being in a cold and all you see is snow and ice , I do start feeling a little drained and my motivation starts getting lower. In that case I usually like to go grab a cup of coffee and go for a walk around or short hike, if it’s a decently nice day out , when it’s not too freezin out and try to appreciate my surroundings. This is for those days when I’m too exhausted too ride or go to the gym or do anything extra active. I also would like to get more into snowshoeing and cross county skiing again I feel that would be such a fun activity along with snowboarding. ☕️🏂🌧
I do enjoy cozy nights with candles and a movie in a winter too, but man I can’t wait for summer camping, beach and hiking season. 🎒🏕🏖 .
Does anyone feel the same? What are you my winter people like to do to cheer up your spirit when you have almost 9 months of the winter?😀 .
