#transformationtuesday (keeping it modest in my #momsuit from @albionfit ). Transformations don’t happen overnight. There are plenty of products out there that claim to speed the process of weight loss; and I’m sure they work, but a healthy mentality takes time....consistency....patience. Self-love and dedication can’t be bought, prescribed, surgically instilled. The journey is a process of highs and lows, failures that you show yourself grace in and keep moving the direction that you desire. The physical changes will eventually come and then slow down, but the decision to invest in yourself and health is an overall victory. The food we put into our bodies is fuel, the workouts can be pretty great therapy sessions of relieving stress + improving your mood.
I haven’t owned a scale since March, I actually threw it away. I hadn’t weighed myself until last week at the gym when I was curious what that number was. It didn’t matter, it didn’t change anything knowing it and that was such #FREEDOM for this girl who used to be completely dictated by what that number said. I used to allow it to be the measure of everything when in reality it meant nothing. (Btw, it was only 5 lbs different than the pic on the left 141/136, body composition is everything). There will always be people who look better, lift heavier, run faster, weigh less, are stronger..... BUT just do you, be the best you that you can be and at the end of the day that is more than ENOUGH ❤️😘
