You guys, the last few weeks have been absolutely AMAZING! It was such an incredible feeling to completely unplug while I was on vacation. During the second half of our trip, we had zero cell service while camping in Mount Rainier National Park. During that time, all my worries disappeared and it was such a beautiful feeling. I was reconnected to my love of nature and camping, and truly fell in love with hiking. (We hiked 36.9 miles over four days 🤯) I definitely didn’t play with my yarn as much as I’d hoped to, because at the end of the day, i was exhausted! .
While in the PNW, I knew I needed to find a local coffee shop at some point and took full advantage of that during our super short time in Seattle. After checking out the gum wall, I found @ghostalleyesp and it did not disappoint! I got their cold brew (that had a whiskey taste! 🤤) with oat milk and their homemade vanilla. It was 👌🏼 .
A couple days after I made it back to Chicago it was time for #OML2018! I met so many amazing makers I look up to, and it was truly a great experience!! .
If you’re still reading this (I know it’s long 😅), thank you so much for following along on my maker journey. There’s only one yarn related picture in this post, but I just had to share some of my favorite pictures from my trip! 🖤 .
