It's just one workout.  I'll do it tomorrow. Truth is, I'm lying on my couch, under a blanket.  I'm totally cozy and relaxed. My friends 👯‍♀️ tell me my body looks fine the way it is, so why bother? I just got home from a hard day at work.  My puppy 🐶 is cuddled up next to me, all nice and peaceful.  I'd have to get up, get changed, drive to the gym, walk through the parking lot from my car to the gym. What a pain! 🙄 Screw it! 😡 I'm just not feeling it. - ...NO!  NO!! I've got to go! 😲 But why?  No seriously, I'm not in the mood.  Why should I get up and go torture my legs at the gym? 🙀 - ......BECAUSE I HAVE GOALS, DAMNIT!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 - I'm not going to look the way I want to look by waiting until tomorrow 🙌🏼 Plus, I told myself I was going to lift 5 days a week, and I'm no quitter 🙅🏻‍♀️ As much as I don't want to go right now, the me two hours from now is going to thank me for getting off my butt and getting after it. - 👑👑The only way to achieve anything worth having, is to push yourself to do the hard things, even when you don't feel like it👌🏼👌🏼 - Yeah, I'm probably not going to look any different when I get home, but I'm going to F E E L DIFFERENT.  I'm going to feel like I just stepped up to the plate 😁 and did something productive, and most of all I kept a commitment to myself. - Every day I keep that commitment is one day closer to reaching my fitness goals. Deze foto is nog van gister ochtend voordat ik mijn geplande workout ging doen en nadat ik een aantal foto's had genomen. Ik zeg goedemorgen! Na een onrustige, warme en korte nacht en zonder make-up of filter. De foto's zijn voor de momenten dat de weegschaal of kleding geen verandering meer aangeeft of gewoon als geheugensteuntje waar ik vandaan kom. En jeetje, ik kon het niet eens een half uur volhouden maar zelfs na een kwartier oefeningen doen voelde ik vanochtend spierpijn. 💦Water Jug Workout💦 —— 📌Save to try it later📌 —— It was high time to bring back the water jugs, cause these are the only jugs I got, lol!!! This one is full body, and pretty heavy on your rear end 🍑🔥. Of course you can use kettlebells or dumbbells too, but it’s nearly not as fun! 😜Especially the 2nd move gets a nice extra kick from the shifting water on your shoulder. —— 1️⃣ 10 Single Leg RDL to Row / side. 2️⃣ 10 Offset Reverse Lunge with DB Curl & Press / side. 3️⃣ 20 Double Swing. 4️⃣ 20 Boat Hold Leg Raises (see individual slide for variations). 😴 Rest 30-60 sec between rounds. 🔁 3-5 rounds. —— P.S. These 2.5 gallon jugs weigh 20 lbs. each. Today was definitely an “out of the ordinary” type of day for me. • • It’s supposed to be day 2, week 1 of my *new* program, however, I’ve had a training session set up with @jedd.diesel for a few weeks.....so I had to keep that! • • If I have trainers that I workout to at home, why go to a local trainer? 🤔 Because it’s good to try some different things once in awhile‼️ Always be willing to learn so you can continue to make improvements. • • Mainly, I work with my own body weight and dumbbells only. So why not try out some other equipment? • • What a difference!! It was fun to use a barbell, some crazy heavy bands, ankle weights, a sledge hammer thing 🤣, a 50lb punching bag, and some grip contraption 🤣🤣🤣 @jedd.diesel —— I apologize for butchering the names, but I can’t remember what they were called! 🤷‍♀️🙈 • • So, if you don’t know who Jedd is, start following him‼️ He’s done some pretty amazing things in the “grip strength” world and he also does personal training. I will say that his instruction and patience are superb and he will definitely get you to reach your goals. 💪🏻👊🏻 • • Thank you for the fun and different challenge today Jedd!

After having little peanut, working out was something that was very hard to get in to my daily routine again. . First, my body was still healing, so I had to stick to low impact exercises. . Second, sleep? I think I forgot what that is. . It seemed as if every time i got halfway through a workout, he was hungry or needed something. . Here was my solution! I created effective, low impact, 20 minute workouts for times like this! . You really don’t need tons of equipment or hours at the gym to get in a good workout. You can do it from wherever you are. ((Transformation Tuesday)) It’s not just about the weight any more. It’s not just about the workouts. It’s about the self-love, the excitement, the desire to be a better human. 6 years ago I had no idea what was missing, but I knew it was something. I literally had a routine of destruction. Trudge to work 3 days a week sitting on my butt eating breakfast and lunch from fast food, on my days off sit and watch TV or sit on the ground playing with the boys, make a huge dinner and eat enough for 3 people, more TV and go to bed. I knew there was more to life than that, but I was STUCK, I had no idea how to find that something more. Turning 30 was a tipping point in my life and everyone came with me. Just working on our fitness! Today's workout was intense! The new LIIFT4 program is amazing! It was a combination of weight training, HIIT, and core! It may have only been 40 minutes long, but I felt it for sure! Best part is, I will continue to burn calories after the fact! Plus! Who doesn't love working out with their Goddaughter!

8 weeks. Can you give yourself 8 weeks to go full on. No mistakes. no skipping. Nothing! Is it even possible to not slip? I don’t know...that’s my new challenge. When I did 80 day, my goal was to workout every single day without skipping. I did just that. Now I want to know what not making any mistakes looks like.im talking-no cheats, 100 oz -gallon every. Single. Day. Perfect nutrition. Working out. Is it possible? We’ll see!!! My client likes to go out to lunch after P.t. Same restaurant every time. I order the same food every time. I bring my containers and ask for a second plate to portion out my salad. No dressing. It is possible to do it perfectly even if I eat out! This is my 8 week challenge. I may fail and that’s okay... but I want to try at the very least! For the record, beachbody and the bootcamp is all about balance. We talk about it so much. I truly believe that. There’s nothing wrong about having ice cream or wine or whatever you want on cheat day. Don’t beat yourself up. This is for me. I want to raise the bar for me. This has nothing to do with not believe about balance. This is just a challenge. It’s a curiosity to see if I CAN do it. This is an 8 week challenge and then yes. I’ll go back to having a cheat day and all that.

Another makeshift pull-up video, earlier on this trip, from my time in Florence. You might have seen it on my story last week. _ My last makeshift pull-up bar video was interesting. I had to stand on a chair to reach the molding surrounding the bathroom door of my last hotel room(fucking Italians got some tall ass ceilings and tall big ass doors🚪). It was a tad bit awkward because I was worried the wooden molding wouldn’t be able to hold all my weight if I extended my arm completely. So the first rep wasn’t a complete extension. I had to be sure I wouldn’t break it. This video is much more definitive. Much more assertive and confirming. In other words, the dressor was heavy as fuck and wasn’t going anywhere. I didn’t have to worry about it falling or breaking. I was confident. _ What’s cool about using your body weight as your source of resistance is you can pretty much workout anywhere at anytime. Especially if you’re resourceful. _ On another thought, I’m really so stoked to be enjoying Sicily right now but on the real, I can not wait to get back to NY and to actual pull-up bars and solid workout routines. Hotel gyms suck ass bro and that’s real talk 💯🤣

One of my favourite adventures this year so far was climbing Mt Snowdon a couple of months ago. Getting past my fear of heights and really appreciating the experience. It made me realise that this is what I want more of in life. More adventures! More travelling, climbing, exploring.. getting out of my comfort zone and eliminating limits! Loving my new workout program and the space I get to come to each morning before my kids are awake.
