All you can eat is a very divisive subject in the food community. On one hand some people love it, while others feel it might be hit or miss in terms of quality. In the case of Watari Japanese Restaurant, I definitely feel it’s a really good thing! This is my second visit and both times the groups I went with ordered all across the menu, so I’ve had the opportunity to experience a lot of the dishes. Whether it was the Miso Soup, the Beef Tataki, Sashimi, Sushi, Maki Rolls, or their Tempura, Chicken Karaage, Udon, Green Onion Cakes, or any of the other dishes I tried, I honestly always felt that the quality was better than I expected and definitely good. I appreciate the fact that they have some delicious surprises on the menu too, such as Japanese style tacos which is nice! Obviously the quality and experience is not going to be on the level of @ , but for all you can eat at $30 per person, I honestly find it hard to complain. If you note past reviews on this feed you’ll know that I’m not a huge seafood fan if it’s overly fishy. In this case I didn’t feel it was and didn’t have an issue with the flavour or freshness of what was served to me. Each time I’ve been, it’s always been a great time with the food coming out fast and I never leave hungry. Would I go back again? Absolutely. I’m not an experienced Sushi eater and won’t pretend to be but if you’re extremely hungry and in need of a sushi fix, this really is a pretty decent choice overall at the end of the day and definitely worth trying!
