We’ve all got our crunches and bodyweight exercises sorted. But have we thought of abs like any other muscle? We need to make them grow but we also need to shape them. ✗
Adding heavy loads just like we do for other muscle will enhance their growth. Then we can add holds, L-sits etc, basically anything that makes us contract intensely and we can hold. Another great way is using bands, creating tension that consistently changes just like real life. ✗
Use a combination of exercises, heavy, not many reps, light with lots of reps, holds, deficits, different contraction periods, slow and fast.
The key is train them like any muscle, wide variety and keep them guessing.
