WARNING! SETLIST SPOILERS!
As soon as Denzel Curry announced the TA13OO Tour, I knew I had to go. I had already seen him on the Mad Man Tour with IDK and A$AP Ferg, and he was a phenomenal performer, so I could only imagine what he would do with a full headlining set. I was also developing an obsession with upcoming artists ZillaKami and SosMula (aka City Morgue). I was already DYING to see the songs I had heard from them live, and Zel put Zilla on Vengeance (my favorite song on TA13OO), so it didn’t seem THAT outlandish for City Morgue to open for him. So, I did what any rational fan would do and commented “ADD CITY MORGUE TO THE TOUR” every time Denzel posted something. And then, one day, he actually did it. I could not believe it. They were coming to my city. At the smallest venue I have ever been to (550 people). We got to the venue about 30 minutes before doors opened, and there wasn’t even really a line; it was more like a clump of people waiting outside the doors. When we got in, I saw just how small the venue was and I was in awe. There were literally like 10-15 rows of people on the floor max, and you had a perfect view of the stage wherever you were. So we waited for an hour, listening to some random instrumentals and getting merch, until we saw the projector turn on. Everyone cheered as we saw them open the video file for City Morgue’s visuals. And then they came out. We opened the pit, they played Drop Dead, and the crowd went insane. Zilla’s mic wasn’t working at first, but the venue was small enough to where we could actually hear him screaming without it. We opened the pit for every single song, and the crowd’s energy never let up. I fell flat on my back twice, but I couldn’t even feel it because of the pure adrenaline. For SHINNERS13 we ran in a circle around the mosh pit, for Sk8 Head they brought up 3 fans to stage dive, and for 33rd Blakk Glass we did the wall of death. And during Yukk Mouth Zilla came into the pit to mosh with us. They also played Nitro Cell, Trainspotting, and Caligula, along with Spit It Out by Slipknot. Shoutout @ for the videos of the crowd; you can see just how insane that shit was. [CONTINUED IN COMMENTS]
