Happy meatless Monday! I have been trying to participate in meatless Monday to save our environment 🌲🌎 reducing meat once a week can lead to less greenhouse gases, and less water usage! This would be huge for the environment. Greek orzo pasta salad for dinner tonight 😋 • • • Orzo, Cucumber🥒, tomato🍅, red pepper, green onion, red onion, parsley, black olives, feta cheese . Then for the dressing I did lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Middle eastern inspired lunch today! Quinoa tabbouleh: quinoa, parsley, kale, green onion, tomato🍅, cucumber🥒, 1 clove of garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Shrimp dinner 🍤🍤 Wild caught frozen shrimp sautéed with turmeric, garlic powder, ginger, and saffron. Then sautéed zucchini and broccoli in coconut aminos with left over quinoa and topped with micro greens! • • • What I love about shrimp is how little it takes to cook! Therefore I don’t have to spend forever cooking something. We use water in our cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate temperature and body functions. It helps keep our tissues in our body moist and helps remove waste. We need water to properly digest our foods. Our bodies NEED water to properly function! Our body loses water through breathing, sweating and digestion so it’s always important to rehydrate by drinking water. If we are constantly dehydrated, our body won’t be able to function and do everything it needs to do. • • • I love my @healthyhumanlife water bottle because it keeps my water cool for hours!
