I always get the same question when I’m setting someone’s first programme or giving them an induction. And that’s.... How do I stick to the gym? It’s a big deal if you have no interest in the gym so why not find a type of exercise that you enjoy and if you enjoy exercise you will never feel pressure to complete it! The gym is great when you start seeing progressions but you need to reach this hurdle and it doesn’t take as long as you may think. See if your gym offers classes as this may help you to become motivated and you can meet new people, even new friends who could become your ‘gym buddy’. People who expect too much of themselves -- don't stick with it. ...
Take baby steps - - remember why you are there in the first place and don’t make your goals too big!
Mix it up. ... speak to the instructors ask for different exercises that still work the same muscle groups so you don’t get bored.
Don't be your own drill sergeant... enjoy it and you will soon see the difference in your physical, mental and emotional self!
Bring a friend or make a friend, going to the gym at the same time helps you meet the same people and being the first person to break the ice may find you a workout partner!! And last but not least... be proud of yourself because you doing it for you 💪 I’m super proud of all my clients and members who continue to work hard and they all have their own different reasons to why they turn up and get sweaty 💦👏👏👏 #fitnesslover#fitnessclass#fitness#gym#goals#motivation#fitnessmotivation#fitnessjourney#cardio#workout#exercise#girlswholift#exercisemotivation
