Hey #THEpushupsquad Just a quick recap of form for WEEK 3’s posted OAPU progression. I tried it with a 15kg plate. WEEK 3 #diamondstoOAPU PROGRESSION: the #ONEARMPOSTEDPUSHUP (prepares for next week’s Archer push up) I used a foam roller but experiment with different height posts💪🏽💪🏽 TIPS: 💥Place one hand just outside shoulder width. Off arm is slightly bent and resting on your post. 💥Lower body to one side keeping weight on that side and elbows and core tight. 💥Push with active hand against the ground to return to start position. Use off hand only for balance and a little push 💥Repeat on other side!! Happy Friday!! TAG me and @thepushupnerd and #THEpushupsquad

This session was all about squeezing😂 Repatterning #backsquats with wider foot position (🙏🏼 @that_unstoppable_chick ) and using posterior chain in the drive up. Aaggh my quads want to do all the work!! Week 2: the #ROLLOVERPUSHUP teaches proper position at the bottom of the OAPU. TIPS: 💥Place hands just outside shoulder width & pointing 45degrees outwards. 💥Lower body to one side keeping weight on that side and elbows tight. 💥Allow body to rotate slightly. But hips and shoulders MUST rotate in alignment. 💥Push with both hands against the ground to return to start position. 💥Repeat on left side. That is one complete rep!!
