Let’s taco ‘bout carbs..

Too many people are “afraid” of carbs, and ever since Atkins reared his ugly head, it’s been a hot topic of debate.. so here are a few reasons you SHOULD eat carbs, and what kinds are the best.
1. Your 🧠 runs on glucose. And you get glucose from carbs. You need carbs to learn, think, and remember well.
2. Bowel movements. Our obsession with 💩 doesn’t start or end here - but you should know that the fiber in carbs gets the conversation moving #punintended.
3. There are tons of vitamins and minerals in this macronutrient and they help many of your bodily functions, well, function!
4. They are yummy AF.😋
Obviously there are numerous other health benefits to eating carbs but I find these 4 the most relevant.
So next time you go food shopping, try adding some beans, peas, potatoes, yams, oats, fruits, veggies, rice, barley, and milk to your diet.
