Remember '90s game show 'Supermarket Sweep'? Ever wanted to recreate it but with, y'know, more booze? Well then head to Shoreditch's @londoncocktailclub throughout the winter, where you'll be able to go wild in the drinks aisle to make drinks like this Fish House punch.

It's behind you! And by 'it' we mean a couple of game runners, dressed in a panto horse outfit, merrily taking part in a race for YouCan charity. Obviously! If you want to join them (oh yes you do!), then head down to Greenwich on Sunday, where 30 of the furry competitors will be cantering towards the finish line. @london_pantomime_horse_race [Photo: Christine Ongsiek]

Head to St James' Church - just down the road from Piccadilly Circus - and you'll find this lifesize glowing deer. Made by artist Faith Bebbington out of 2,000 recycled plastic bottles, he's a reminder to cut down on plastic waste. Plus, every time someone makes a charity 'tap donation', its red heart lights up ❤️ [Photo: David Parry]

Today, artist @studioolafureliasson's new work 'Ice Watch' - 24 blocks of melting, glacial ice taken out of the waters in Greenland - opens outside the @tate Modern. A striking reminder of the real threat of climate change, it is expected to remain there until December 21st. This video shows one of the blocks being ‘harvested’.

Here’s this week’s must-see art shows: 1️⃣ There's a psychedelic little shop of horrors down in New Cross, as Kris Lemsalu brings her fabric and ceramic installations to @goldsmithscca. 2️⃣ Nordic-art meister Olafur Eliasson has brought huge chunks of melting glacier ice and plonked them outside of @Tate Modern and Bloomberg HQ. Why? Because climate change, ya bozo. 3️⃣ OMG, art in a ballpit, lol! Except hold on, there's an edge to @michaelpybus‘show at @lungleygallery.

Hole-y moly that’s a lot of crumpets! And they’re all #MadeinLondon at @warburtonsuk’s Enfield factory. At 45,000 square metres, it’s the largest bakery in Europe. We visited for this week’s issue of Time Out. Grab a copy of the magazine to find out how one Britain’s favourite breakfasts gets made. 🎥: @angelahuii

'Tis the season of goodwill, so pick up a copy tomorrow for ways to #DoYourBit: ✅ Ways to help homeless Londoners 🙋‍♂ Where you can volunteer this Christmas 🏆 An introduction to London's unsung heroes 📲 Grab a preview now in our story

What’s more warming than a dram of Scotch? @ironstagbar’s Hot Scotch made with mulled ginger and apple beer, and a dusting of cinnamon. 🥃🔥 Try it at #Hotboozapalooza this Wednesday. You can grab tickets via the link in our bio. Want the full recipe? Head over to @drinkdelightful to watch.

Following on from Mayfair joint @kittyfishers, @corapearlcg is the second restaurant to be named after a notorious courtesan recently. This Covent Garden gem is no less eye-flutteringly charming. It's "as inviting as it gets," says food ed @taniaballantine . 📷: Alex Maguire

Fancy getting hot and steamy this festive season? Well, a little day trip to Reading's @thameslido - complete with open-air hot tub and twinkly poolside restaurant - should do the trick. Not a water baby? Find more top wintery outings in this week's mag - out now.

Got a pooch who's earned their place on the nice list this year? Then head down to Hampstead boozer The Garden Gate this afternoon, where they'll be opening their paws - sorry, doors - for @alldogsmatter's annual Christmas fair. You'd be barking mad to miss it. [Photo: Paul Brown]
