Southern California, new blog with some new photos :)
This was taken on the first day in Tofino. Ryan and I had just made the drive and we're stoked to spend the week in the ocean. It was often cold and cloudy but the people we meet were the true sunshine of the island. Such a beautiful experience, can't wait to go back :)
Weekend madness at the beach ☀️
The ocean is something that's so new to me. I've been pushing myself by spending most of my time in the water facing all types of waves and having a ton of fun doing it. During this learning curve I feel like I've gotten a lot of water in my ears clouding my judgement making me forget to pick up the camera and create.
I've been having a ton of fun surfing, which is cool. But it's unbalancing to me because I know I'm coming up short in my mission to create and inspire others.
Time to even out the scales. 🤘🏼
Uploaded a new Portfolio a couple days ago. It's pretty wild to look back on what you can accomplish in just a couple months. It's funny what happens when you stop working for other people and start working for yourself :)
Anyways, if you have a couple minutes to spare, open up your laptop and head over to www.vinnylaz.com to check out the portfolio!
I've surfed every single day since I've been in California! Definitely won't say I'm any good at it, but I'm for sure livin the dream 🏄🏻
Sometimes I can just picture myself with a big beard riding a badass motorcycle like @jharrisonl
Looking at this road going into the clouds made me wanna fast! 🛵💨
Looking back is just as important as looking ahead. It's good to think about those amazing times and then bring that positive energy in your everyday life.
It was 4:45 in the morning my cousin and I waited for the sun to rise, half asleep and full of hype 🤘🏼 #canonphotos
Quiet mornings on the beach 🙏🏼
Some wild looking hiking trails back in Washington 👣
Hey Mat can you walk on that rock? Wait take like 3 steps back then do it again. Shit I don't like that angle, can you do it one more time... AND YUP THATS IT RIGHT THERE, we got it
I'm sure I'm not the only who's mood is affected by the weather.. A couple days ago, all I wanted to do was surf. I was in Oregon it was windy, cold, foggy, bad waves, you name it man. So I made the decision to drive south until I see the sun. I get lost in my thoughts when I'm behind the wheel, I swear after a couple hours I go full zen and can organize everything I'm thinking about like a perfect Tetris game, aha. Miles later, my thoughts are clear my mind is focused and I see the future being brighter then I could of ever imagined it to be. If you're still reading, you the best :) I shot this photo on the southern coast of Oregon, in California now. 🤘🏼
Never a bad morning to get lost on the beach.. 👣
My life is a movie, a movie you can watch 😂 new stuff on the site, always 🤘🏼
Most days I don't know the day of the week, losing track is a reminder of time being well spent 🤘🏼
