Thanks to @koolestkeith for sharing a great story about this majestic double rainbow that this morning graced the skies of downtown as viewed from the iconic Jackson Street Bridge. Check out his feed for more great shots of the city.
If you’re looking for an amazing celebration of local artistic creation to document, head out to Foward Warrior today and tomorrow, all along Wylie on both sides of the Krog Street Tunnel. Tons of talented artists will be painting murals all weekend. Thanks to artist @michimeko for sharing this shot taken while prepping a wall for a new mural. Be sure to tag your photos #forwardwarrior and #weloveatl. We’ll share our favorite tomorrow!
Check out the awesome street photography of @the_beauty_of_everyday_thangs Pop on over to his feed and give it a look. Really great stuff! Thanks for sharing Ken! #weloveatl
So many great #puddlegrams coming in from our weekend rain challenge. We especially love this fresh take on the landmark Equitable building from @atlurbanist.

Huge thanks to #weloveatl super friend @grantparkphotog for sharing this striking photo on the tag. This is our last call for our #power2give fundraising campaign. The city MATCHES EVERY DOLLAR ONE FOR ONE up to $10k. This money helps fund our storytelling projects in the community. We’re working on some stuff that we’re super excited about so please consider donating. Cheers y’all! Check our profile for the link.
Well, all it took was us issuing a rain challenge for the sun to come out! But rain is still in the forecast for the weekend, so keep on showing our city’s wetter side. Take inspiration from #weloveatl contributor @thegreatkingace, whose feed is filled with masterful puddle reflections of Atlanta. Pro tip: turn your phone upside down (and if it’s not waterproof hang on tight!) to put the lens as close to the puddle as possible to get the most balanced reflection possible.
This week’s forecast is filled with rain, so we want to invite the #weloveatl community to use the rain as an excuse to get out and explore Atlanta in a new way, like in this classic candid from Jason Travis (@jtrav) that is one of our all time favorite submissions. If your phone isn’t waterproof (many new ones are!) drop it in a ziplock bag and embrace the rainstorms! Post sidewalk splashes, puddle reflections, crazy clouds, wind-whipped umbrellas - anything that celebrates our city in the rain. We’ll post our favorites until the sun shines again. :) Also: please head to the profile on our link to donate to our Power2Give campaign! We have 7 days to unlock matching funds from the city!
Another great shot from @shutterchicatl Take a sec and check out her feed for great shots from ATL and beyond. We’re getting near the end of our #power2give fundraising campaign. Check out the link in our bio for info. Every cent helps us continue our projects in the community. Happy Friday y’all! #weloveatl
