Day 11 combining #AllIWantForChristmasIsLola #CollateralPractice and #TooLeFitToQuit. . . . . For TooLefit, working on a fun gatepose flow. I really enjoyed this one. For cyogalife, working on flying warrior. And for Lola challenge, working on my Lola hold and also half minute hold on chaturanga and plank with a lean. I have never held a timed chaturanga before and it actually wasn’t bad. Had to use my phone for a timer so no video. I told my husband I want an egg timer for Christmas so I can stop using my phone to tone since I also use it to record. Basically I use my phone for everything at this point. 😂 . . . Day 7 of #AllIWantForChristmasIsLola and #CollateralPractice . . . . . For cyogalife, working on epk2. And for Lola, working on Lola hold and floating tabletop hold. I always forget to float my tabletop. Those floating bird dogs seemed like a good idea but they just weren’t working out for me especially with a hold. So question about Lola. My ugly cross leg Lola I can hold for a long time. Did about 45 sec here and honestly could go longer but got bored. But I don’t think the form is right. Is crossing the legs bad form? Trying with legs not crossed, my hold time much worse. Also it tends to give me foot cramps. It gave me a really bad one today and I left my overly dramatic facial reaction in the video because it amused me. Hey guys, foot cramps hurt. Day 9 of #TooLefitToQuit . . . Really enjoyed this pyramid to one leg bridge pose flow. Definitely another quad burner. On an unrelated note, has anyone tried Starbucks nitro cold brew? I had my first one today and it was heaven. I worked as a barista for Starbucks as a college student in Ann Arbor and also when I lived in London, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. For awhile now my drink has been an Americano usually served hot. As a vata dosha, I like my food and drink warm. But the nitro cold brew is my new favorite. The flavor is incredible. And it’s served without ice so it’s not too cold. I don’t typically go to Starbucks because there isn’t one on the island I live on. But this was a real treat. It was the best cup of iced coffee I’ve ever had. Anyone else tried it? What did you think? . . . . . . But I definitely don’t need a fire. If anything it’s way to hot out here for the amount of clothing I’m wearing. Also working on my Lola hold. Back to my cross foot ugly Lola. Is it wrong/bad form to cross the feet like this? It definitely doesn’t feel the same or as strong. But my poor Lola has felt pretty weak the past few day and wearing shoes wasn’t helping matters.
