On October 4th 2001, I was in NYC for a film festival...arriving in the city with the rubble of the World Trade Center still burning. The mayor requested that if anyone was able to attend services for the fallen first responders to please do so since well over two hundred services would be held and all should support the grieving families. Being the son of a fireman I chose to go to Ruben “Dave” Correa’s service. One of the most profoundly sad days of my life! He was husband, son, brother and father of three young girls. He sacrificed his life trying to save others...he is a hero!! #neverforget
This was our high school graduation in Evening Shade...in case you’re wondering... the commencement speaker was supposed to be John Denver but the Herman, the assistant coach, accidently called Bob Denver who was forced to sing ”Rocky Mountain High” at the graduation ceremony. That was one funny week with a ton of laughter. I’ll never forget Burt’s laugh! R.I.P Burt. #AmericanIcon#hollywoodtrades#hollywood#hollywoodlegend#burtreynolds
In 1994 I got married and had been working with Burt Reynolds...i invited him to our wedding and unfortunately he wasn’t in LA at the time. He arranged for the wardrobe department to take one of his tuxedo’s to be fit for me as a gift and this is me wearing Burt’s tux. The marriage didn’t work out( we were kids) but I can never forget that generous act on his part! Thanks BR!!! Love you!
