I finished Empire of Sand this morning, and I really enjoyed it! The second half, especially, was super engaging, and I am thrilled the sequel will be following the story of Arwa.
I wanted to take a brief break from Fantasy, though, so, my next book comes highly recommend by many of you, either via your posts or mentioned directly to me: 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘖𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘦 by Gail Honeyman. I'm excited that it is an adult contemporary fiction, because as much as I love contemporary YA, it is good to switch things up!
Extending my thanks to the wonderful @.israd.books for tagging me in this adorable
🏡Fave place to read? Anywhere I can, honestly, haha. I love to read outside when the weather is permitting, but am just as happy snuggled up on the couch.
☕Fave hot drink? Oh goodness! Love tea, coffee, hot chocolate, warm cider, ahhhh, so many! A spiced chai latte with a shot of espresso is probably my favorite, however.
🍪Fave reading snack? I don't normally snack when I read, interestingly enough. I suppose a pastry or muffin would be my snack of choice, though!
🧦Fave thing to wear while reading? Cozy things, like socks, sweats, and cardigans/sweaters. I'm not usually trying to make a fashion statement when I read.☺
⏰What time of day/week do you like to read? Again, anytime that I can! I love when my weekends are free to just languish on the couch and read all day long (so rare, so treasured). Usually I just steal some hours in the evening and before bedtime.
🧣Warm and cozy book you reccomend?
Oh goodness, I'm not sure if warm and cozy is my area of expertise, but I know that if I read either Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, I am walking away with a smile on my face/warmth in my heart.
Again, I am tagging some lovely accounts, but please no pressure to play along* (and if you already have, my apologies)! Feel free to join in even if you weren't tagged; I would love to learn more about you all!
So, what makes you cozy, @, @, @, @, @ers?
