After a year, I can finally debut this cosplay.
After last years disappointment with not being to finish the cosplay in time, it was a sort of do or die kind of thing for me
It’s been a year of redesigning, frustrations, screaming at inanimate objects, a lot of mistakes (a lot,) long nights... it’s finally completed enough to make its debut.
Now of course today was not without it’s faults. Unfortunately, I was unable to be spray painted because of lack of timing, fixtures kept popping off, had to keep re-taping pieces together, figuring out that the straps were to shorts and having to make on the spot improvisations. There were many faults to today, but it was a great experience nonetheless with having to be able to wear this out.
This costume would not have possible if it were not for the support of @breath_of_night.art and her family. They have helped me tremendously with assembling this cosplay and allowing its to actually to come to life. They helped me figure out the fixtures for this costume, how to try to keep to my body, and helped set up for the days leading to the expo. Thank you, I really could not have done this without you all.
Of course, I look forward to fixing this cosplay and improving it from where it is and seeing where it can evolve.
Any questions about material and techniques, feel free to ask.
