L I F E I S G O O D 🙌. This pic was taken a year ago today at the . Weirdly enough, I find myself here again today, at the PA one year on but a much healthier, happier, stronger woman. My amazing, beautiful friend @ was my absolute rock as I was prepped for my second transplant. Could not have gotten through all that without her, so much ❤️. And yes, I’m so very lucky and full of joy today but also some sadness as today people are experiencing the anniversary of losing a loved one 😢. I wouldn’t be here today without my donors so I’m holding this space for them and their families. There are no words even close to expressing my gratitude for these people and many others who have donated or are willing to donate their organs when the time comes. We, the recipients are extremely grateful!! 🙏🏻. My journey with both rounds of dialysis and then the transplants was really shit, to say the least, and I may need another one at some stage. But I’m free of all that for the moment however, I have friends still waiting for their second chances at life. Please seriously consider being an organ donor and sharing awareness world wide.
